Ramon Leon, MPH, Program Chief – Riverside County Emergency Management Department

Ramon Leon is Program Chief of the Preparedness Division of the Riverside County Emergency Management Department.  He is responsible for coordinating medical and health preparedness activities in the County, including the development and conduct of full-scale, functional, and tabletop exercises; development and implementation of plans, policies and procedures for emergency response activities; and oversight of the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP), Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP), Ebola, Pandemic Influenza, Cities Readiness Initiative (CRI), Homeland Security, Metropolitan Medical Response System grants.

 

Ramon is a graduate from San Diego State University with a B.S. degree in Health Science and Loma Linda University with a Master of Public Health.
